Times and accolades are shiny, and attractive, but don’t tell the entire story. Where expertise lies is in the experience and trials of the journey. I’ve experienced highs and lows throughout my training and life. My job is to share and educate my athletes in my shared experience to best support them on their journey to their strongest versions of themselves.
My running story began when I was a kid growing up in Boulder, Colorado. Each year, I was captivated by the excitement of the town’s local 10k, the Bolder Boulder. Amidst belly dancers, slip-and-slides, dixie cups of bacon, and live bands lining the course, I fell in love with the sport—the mix of community, culture, and the personal challenge of improving myself.
From there, I dove headfirst into the world of running. I represented my high school at the state championships, walked on to a Division II powerhouse at Western Colorado University, and later transferred to the University of Arkansas to compete in the 5k and 10k. Eventually, my curiosity led me to the ultrarunning scene, where I earned the honor of a professional contract with Nike.
Today, I reside in Flagstaff, Arizona, surrounded by an inspiring community of runners and breathtaking trails, mountains, and canyons. My training and adventures here continue to remind me of the joy and lessons that running brings—resilience, patience, and the thrill of exploration.
Now, I’m excited to share that journey with you. My goal as a coach is to bring together my competitive experience, training knowledge, and love for adventure to help you grow as both an athlete and a person. Whether it’s structured training, recovery strategies, or simply rediscovering the joy of running, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
